Hardware platform
Four antennas and MU-MIMO support will ensure stable and uninterrupted communication throughout the house, and if the area is too large, the router can easily be used to expand the network coverage area by organizing the network in seamless Mesh mode.

The modern hardware platform has made it possible to combine high performance in the wired and wireless segment:

The WAN and LAN ports support speeds of up to 1 Gbit/s ;
2.4GHz Wi-Fi has a channel speed of up to 574 Mbps/sec ;
Wi-Fi 5 GHz has a channel speed of up to 2402 Mbps.
The software features will allow you to use the device at home and in the office.

New software
The AX2 comes with the new EasyWRT software.

EasyWRT features in comparison with the classic SNR-CPE Firmware:

The functions of remote control of the CPE by the telecom operator using the TR-069 protocol (CWMP) are being actively improved and refined, new branches are being introduced for convenient interaction of the telecom operator with the equipment fleet;
We have implemented diagnostic tools for prompt troubleshooting and troubleshooting;
The ability to configure seamless roaming in a Mesh network with the operation of 802.11k/r/v protocols. We are actively refining the Mesh based on feedback from our customers;
The functionality of guest networks via MBSSID has been implemented with the ability to set access restrictions for connecting clients by time;
In AX2, TFTP software recovery has been replaced by WEB-based recovery;
It is possible to install open application packages using the OPKG package manager.
One of the key innovations is support for Dual Boot mode, which allows you to store the router software in 2 versions, as "main" and "backup". This mode allows you to update and restore the router software in case of problems.

Advanced wireless network capabilities
Compared to SNR-CPE-Firmware, new features have been added to EasyWRT and existing useful technologies have been improved:

OFDMA is the key difference between Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 5, which allows you to increase potential performance and reduce latency when transferring data from client devices;
BSS Coloring is a method of separating access points and client devices using the same wireless network channel, which improves the coexistence of overlapping signal sources, reduces collisions and provides mitigation of problems with busy Wi-Fi channels;
TWT is a technology aimed at optimizing the power consumption of client devices. The "target wake time" function coordinates when and how often the device will "wake up" to send data;
Mesh - creating a single and seamless network of multiple SNR routers using the 802.11k/r/v roaming protocols;
MBSSID - creation of guest wireless networks with the ability to limit access by time;
WLAN/VLAN - the ability to bind the SSID to WAN/VLAN interfaces.
Working with multimedia services
AX2 is suitable for subscribers connected to the IPTV service.

Multicast support, IGMP Snooping, as well as Multicast-to-Unicast and multicast/broadcast traffic isolation ensure high-quality and stable operation of IP television, including on Wi-Fi clients (please note that the latter is not recommended for this technology).

IPv6 support
The AX2 Wi-Fi router has IPv6 support, including:

Native Dual Stack over IPoE/PPPOE with DHCP+RA;
6to4 mode;
radvd and dhcp6s services.
For telecom operators
A flexible set of offers for customization of SNR-CPE Wi-Fi routers has been developed for telecom operators. It is possible to change the case, the box, and customize the software to meet the needs of a specific network.

Diagnostic tools and remote access via ssh or CWMP will allow you to quickly solve user problems and prevent problems on the network.
