Hardware platform

Four antennas and MU-MIMO support will ensure stable and uninterrupted communication throughout the house. If the area is too large, the router can easily expand the network coverage area.

The modern hardware platform allowed combining high performance in the wired and wireless segments. The software's capabilities will allow you to use the device at home and in the office.

Unlike the ME2 model, the new model has reduced the amount of RAM without reducing performance, and the USB interface is excluded.

Advanced Wireless network capabilities

ME2-Lite supports the latest technologies that provide high performance when working with multiple wireless clients.

MU-MIMO (Multi-user, multiple-input, and multiple-output) - provides the ability to exchange information to several connected devices simultaneously, not in turn, as before.

Airtime Fairness - divide the data transfer time between all clients and eliminate the influence of technologically old clients and clients with a low signal level on the wireless network.

Beamforming - allows you to generate a signal in the direction of the intended wireless device rather than sending it randomly in all directions.

Working with multimedia services

SNR-CPE-ME2-Lite is suitable for subscribers connected to the IPTV service. Multicast support, IGMP Snooping, Multicast-to-Unicast, and multicast/broadcast traffic isolation ensure high-quality and stable operation of IP television, including on Wi-Fi clients (please note that the latter is not recommended for this technology). To watch IPTV on devices that do not support Multicast, a xupnpd DLNA server has been added to the router's software, which allows you to download the provider's playlist directly to the router and use it as a media server.

Flexibility and manageability

Thanks to many configurable parameters, it is possible to modify the firmware for specific tasks without rebuilding the software. Compatibility with CWMP v1.0 (TR-069) and v1.8 (TR-098) is implemented for centralized device management. Also, for all WiFi routers of the SNR-CPE series, full-fledged management and receipt of all statistical data via SSH are available. Mobile application SNR-CPE-Config allows you to configure and manage the router locally and remotely comfortably.

IPv6 Support

The SNR-CPE-ME2-Lite Wi-Fi router has IPv6 support, including Native Dual Stack over IPOE/PPPOE with DHCP+RA, 6to4 mode, as well as radvd and dhcp6s services.

For telecom operators

A flexible set of proposals for customizing Wi-Fi routers SNR-CPE has been developed for telecom operators. It is possible to change the case, the box, customization of the software for the needs of a particular network. Diagnostic tools and remote access via ssh or cwmp will allow you to solve user problems and prevent problems on the network quickly. The software is developed considering the peculiarities of the Russian market and the CIS countries.

For corporate clients

Flexibly configurable roaming based on 802.11k/r and the Handoff principle is implemented for corporate networks. An external controller is not required. For client devices that do not support 802.11k/r roaming protocols, a universal Handoff tool is implemented with a large number of parameters that allow you to flexibly configure the logic of interaction of the router's Wi-Fi interface with client devices based on the signal strength values.

SNR-CPE-ME2-Lite supports enterprise-level WPA-Enterprise wireless network protection technology, which provides dynamic key assignments individually for each wireless client. The Radius server generates the keys. Wi-Fi routers SNR-CPE support Hotspot mode (Chillispot support). There is also a built-in NoDogSplash hotspot server.

For effective management of various wireless networks on the same access point (MBSSID), the wireless network encapsulation function is implemented in 802.1q— WLAN to VLAN, which allows you to apply the necessary policies to a separate wireless network on an upstream gateway.
