About the product

SNR-CPE-W4N (rev.N)is an updated version of SNR-CPE-W4N. The router is designed for wired and wireless (using Wi-Fi technology) connection of users in apartments, houses, and small offices.

The hardware platform ensures stable operation at interface speeds (including L2TP and PPPoE tunnel protocols) without performance losses caused by CPU load. Wi-Fi router SNR-CPE-W4N (rev.N) comes with pre-installed software designed and optimized for the hardware base used.

SNR-CPE-W4N (rev.M) supports the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standard (Wi-Fi 4) and MIMO 2x2 technology, which allows you to provide a channel speed of wireless connection up to 300 Mbit/s. The router is equipped with two external antennas with 5dBi gain and has a large Wi-Fi coverage area with stable data transmission inside it.

Working with multimedia services

The wireless router SNR-CPE-W4N (rev.M) is excellent for subscribers connected to the IPTV service. Multicast support, IGMP Snooping, Multicast-to-Unicast, and multicast/broadcast traffic isolation ensure high-quality and stable operation of IP television, including on Wi-Fi clients (please note that the latter is not recommended for this technology). To watch IPTV on devices that do not support Multicast, a xupnpd DLNA server has been added to the router's software, which allows you to download the provider's playlist directly to the router and use it as a media server.

Flexibility and manageability

Due to many configurable parameters, it is possible to modify the firmware for specific tasks without rebuilding the software. Compatibility with CWMP v1.0 (TR-069) and v1.8 (TR-098) is implemented for centralized device management. Also, for all Wi-Fi routers of the SNR-CPE series, full-fledged management and receipt of all statistical data via SSH are available.

IPv6 support

In the Wi-Fi router SNR-CPE-W4N, rev.M IPv6 support is implemented, including Native Nual Stack over IPOE/PPPOE with DHCP+RA, 6to4 mode, as well as radvd and dhcp6s services.

For telecom operators

A flexible set of proposals for customizing Wi-Fi routers SNR-CPE has been developed for telecom operators. Also, the SNR-CPE software allows you to independently change init without reassembling the firmware via RWFS, which makes it easier to configure the router on the user's side and adapt the router to the network features.

To corporate clients

Flexibly configurable roaming based on 802.11k/r and the Handoff principle is implemented for corporate networks. An external controller is not required. For client devices that do not support 802.11k/r roaming protocols, a universal Handoff tool is implemented with a large number of parameters that allow you to flexibly configure the logic of interaction of the router's Wi-Fi interface with client devices based on the signal strength values.

SNR-CPE-W4N (rev.M) supports enterprise-level WPA-Enterprise wireless network protection technology, which provides dynamic key assignment individually for each wireless client. The Radius server generates the keys. Wi-Fi routers SNR-CPE support Hotspot mode (support Chillispot, CoovaChilli). There is also a built-in NoDogSplash hotspot server.

To effectively manage various wireless networks on the same access point (MBSSID), the wireless network encapsulation function is implemented in 802.1q— WLAN to VLAN, which allows you to apply the necessary policies to a separate wireless network on the upstream gateway.
