The 50 kVA/45 kW power module is designed for installation in the chassis of modular online uninterruptible power supplies with a capacity of 100kVA/200kVA/300kVA/500kVA SM series, which protect the three-phase power supply systems of server, data center, industrial and medical equipment from power outages, voltage and frequency fluctuations and distortions, pulse and high-frequency interference.

Modular UPS are suitable for a fast-growing business: Their architecture allows you to start with a basic configuration with a capacity of 50 kVA/45 kW and expand it as the business grows. 

The power module for an uninterruptible power supply of the SM series combines modern three-level technologies of IGBT rectifiers (bipolar transistors with an isolated gate) with the control logic of DSP (digital signal processors). With a high input power factor, low THDi (the total value of the nonlinear distortion coefficient), and high system efficiency, these devices can work with any type of load. The modular design ensures the reliable and stable operation of critical equipment.

Each power module is hot-swappable, which makes it easy to increase power and simplifies system maintenance. Independent control of each module eliminates the risks associated with failure due to the failure of one element. In case of failure or disconnection of one module, the system continues to operate and provides an uninterrupted power supply, guaranteeing high reliability and protection.

The main advantages of power modules for UPS SM series:
  • high input power factor (>0.99), low THDi value at the input (<4%);
  • excellent adaptability to linear and nonlinear loads;
  • intelligent protection of the module and system;
  • dual controller DSP for each power module;
  • integrated IGBT blocks are used instead of discrete components in the power module;
  • conformal coating of all printed circuit boards to protect against negative external influences: moisture, pollution, elevated temperatures;
