In normal mode, the UPS is powered from the network and supplies the load. When switching to Bypass mode, the load starts to receive electricity directly from the network, isolating the UPS, allowing it to be removed for servicing or repair.
The device can operate in normal and Bypass modes. A rotary switch is used to switch between these modes.
