Product Info

Part number: SNR-S2982G-24TE

SNR-S2982G-24TE is an improved version of the SNR-S2982G-24T model - the case depth has been reduced to 160 mm (170 for R2.0), and the power connector has been moved to the front panel, which saves space when placing the switch on communication nodes. Otherwise, it's still the same SNR-S2982G-24T.

SNR-S2982G-24TE is equipped with 24 10/100/1000BaseT ports and 4 100/1000BaseX SFP ports and is designed for use at the access level in telecom operator networks, as well as corporate networks.

Main Features:

  • Small depth of the case;
  • Power connector on the front panel;
  • Availability of models with power redundancy (RPS/UPS);
  • Cisco-like CLI and standard SNR Private MIB;
  • Support for L2 redundancy protocols STP/RSTP/MSTP/ERPS(+CFM)/MRPP;
  • QinQ Port-based/Selective support;
  • IPv6/Dualstack IPv4/IPv6 support.

The SNR-S2982G-24TE model has two hardware revisions - 1.0 and R2.0 (HardWare Version in the output "show version"). In terms of software and functionality, the models are absolutely identical (they have one software file). Hardware differences:

  •   R2.0 has a large depth (170 mm vs. 160 at R1.0);
  •   The AC power input is located on the left (the connector is inverted, which allows you to take the L-shaped cable towards the rack, and not a switchboard).
